Maison Rives, dating
back to before the French Revolution,
has a history as fascinating as Montolieu
itself. Newly and lovingly restored, the
furnishings in the three doubles and one
twin (all en suite, and one family suite)
rooms compliment perfectly the natural
light pouring through the windows. Whether
your view is over the bridge and the Alzeau
Gorge or down a village street, all our
rooms are spacious, light and airy.

Maison Rives is happy to welcome families
with children (sorry, no pets).
Two car parks (one 150m, another 200m)
are easily accessible.
Picnic lunches, afternoon tea and other
beverages available for a nominal price.

TRAVEL
Montolieu couldn’t be more strategically
placed. It’s a 25-minute drive from the
main Autoroute des Deux Mers (A61), which
links the area along a motorway chain
that stretches north to Bordeaux and the
Dordogne, east to Marseille and Provence,
and northeast to Paris. Carcassonne is
20 minutes away by RN; Toulouse, the Pyrenees,
Narbonne, and the sea, an hour. Two hours
away are Montpellier, Perpignan, Albi,
and Spain.
Served by airports at Carcassonne, Toulouse,
Perpignan, Montpellier and Nimes, getting
here by air couldn’t be easier.
